One who has truly achieved peace with the self and a balance in cold and heat, joy and sorrow, respect and disrespect, has a purified and liberated soul, God dwells in souls such as these and the soul thereby, becomes truly divine.

सरदी-गरमी और सुख-दुःखादि में तथा मान और अपमान में जिसके अन्त:करण की वृत्तियाँ भली भाँति शान्त हैं, ऐसे स्वाधीन आत्मा वाले पुरुष के ज्ञान में सच्चिदानन्दधन परमात्मा सम्यक् प्रकार से स्थित है, अर्थात् उसके ज्ञान में परमात्मा के सिवाय कुछ है ही नहीं ।। ७ ।।
