Looking upon your duty, ARJUNA, as a Kshatriya (warrior), you should never be afraid, but be courageous, because there is nothing better for a Kshatriya than to fight in a righteous war.

तथा अपने धर्म को देखकर भी तू शोक करने के योग्य नहीं है अर्थात् तुझे भय नहीं करना चाहिये ; क्योंकि क्षत्रिय के लिये धर्मयुक्त्त युद्ध से बढ़कर दूसरा कोई कल्याणकारी कर्तव्य नहीं है ।। ३१ ।।
